At Homegrown4Heroes (HG4H), we’re more than just a nonprofit—we’re a movement dedicated to providing veterans with safe access to clean cannabis and building a supportive community around healing and advocacy. We believe in the power of storytelling to create change, and that’s where you come in.

The Role:
Homegrown4Heroes (HG4H) is seeking a Website Coordinator to help enhance our online presence. This is a remote, unpaid internship, ideal for students or aspiring web developers looking to gain hands-on experience while supporting a meaningful cause. Course credit may be available where applicable.

What You’ll Do:

Assist in developing, optimizing, and maintaining the HG4H website​

Improve site navigation, design, and mobile responsiveness

Implement SEO strategies and analyze web traffic performance
-
Maintain and update website content for accuracy and accessibility
-
Troubleshoot technical issues and propose enhancements
-
Integrate donation platforms, social media links, and event updates
-
Ensure website security best practices and ADA compliance

What We’re Looking For:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress (or other CMS platforms)Basic knowledge of SEO, UI/UX design, and responsive web development

Familiarity with plugins, themes, and basic website security best practices

Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and attention to detail

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Passion for nonprofits, veterans' advocacy, or the cannabis industry is a plus
